Apparently even naked appeasement of terrorism still isn't enough for the terrorists, as these now-captive peace activists can probably attest:

How much do you want to bet those clowns are somehow blaming George Bush for their predicament, and not the satanic psychos who have taken them hostage?

I sincerely hope for their welfare, and I also hope the whole thing is some sick hoax (given the terrorist group's heretofore unknown status).

But the whole episode should help put the lie to the "peace" movement. We are not dealing with a rational, conventional enemy, and the "peace" activists' heads planted firmly in the sand on this issue of such grave importance only plays into the hands of that enemy.

I hope you'll excuse me for something totally fatuous, but for a few seconds after reading the first line and before the picture had loaded I momentarily wondered whether Western peace activists had been protesting in Iraq in the nude. Perhaps we could suggest it to them? Game for a laugh!
