Taking Over Television, One Lesbian At A Time

As previously announced, the View will be earning a new co-host in Rosie O'Donnell come this September. At last night's Daytime Emmy Awards, Barbara Walters made the official announcement and formally welcomed Rosie into that hissing pit of vipers.

Far more entertaining was Ellen Degeneres' double win for Best Talk Show and Best Talk Show Host. She laughs, she jokes, she thanks and kisses her lesbian partner, Portia de Rossi, live on national television - and no one cares one little bit.

I heart Ellen.
