SPECIAL NOTE to "Access Atlanta/AJC.com" readers: Thank you for visiting this site. A little controvery erupted among some of the readers of the site that brought you here about this being a "gay" blog, so I applaud you for choosing quality video over homophobia.
Chris Daughtry and others on "American Idol" seemed genuinely shocked by the rocker's early ejection from the competition.
Umm, ever heard of the Internet, Chris?
His reaction was a multi-tiered masterpiece, evincing his barely concealed disgust at the unparalleled boobery of the Idol-watching public.
Paula was disconsolate, while Simon watched dollar signs fly right out of the Kodak Theater.
The stills below capture the range of emotion, but what was most priceless was watching Daughtry's face dissolve in a nanosecond from frivolity and smugness to naked rage.

TAYLOR HICKS is fabulous, he is unashamed to be true to himself - salt and pepper hair, a little cushion in the middle and goofy choerography and all. Taylor should be the next Idol but if he isnt I am not worried someone will snag him up immediately!

is it me or is american idol boring now?
the first season of american idol was the best, they had all pretty people with awesome edgy styles.and hairstyles….and awesome clothing they had the best fashions....…flashy..fun, remember they even had a paula abdul tribute and got her to dance on stage? FUN and silly RIGHT? Interesting contestants...
in the recent seasons, everyone now is so conservative in their styles of clothing and hair..and etc.. and they are so boring!!!. they started allowing not-so-pleasant-looking people on the show, but at least they make up in their singing right? but nooooooooooo….hey! that quiet boring girl Carrie Underwood won last season for Godsakes…remember how SIMON dissed Carrie this season?
even simon recognize that American Idol has gone down hill.
Thus, the show has become more about the judges arguing and drama than the singers. the judges are more intersting.

You people are ruining this country.

wow, i agre with Sandy
Dear CHRIS DAUGHTRY, why are u blaming the fans for not voting? FANS have the right to vote for who ever they want and if they want to do it or not. IF we feel you havent done a great job, then we dont vote for you. Do you think we should automatically vote for you because you have great eyebrows and a bald head? How dare you call us lazy?
You should be grateful that the fans got you this far. Chris, if you think you are all that, you would have gotten a gig without being on American IDOL.
i hate ungrateful unhumble people who likes to blame other people. duh, i hate you.
Bye bye,
LULA

So mean....

When Chris was voted off AL Wednesday night, the energy in the theater,
amongst the questionably ethical judges and the remaining contestants fell
from the top of the Kodak building and crashed to the pavement below to be
heard by the vast majority of all those but the hearing impaired in the entire
universe and beyond. And Kat,, who had clearly already resigned herself to
what she believed was her fate to be the next eliminated, seemed the most
shocked of all. Catch her expression, her eyes in the video clip. I actually
felt sorrier for her than Chris since her "victory" was so patently empty and
umpopular. Boos were most audible and they were most clearly aimed at
her. Taylor's reprise of "Jailhouse Rock" was an early sign that something
was Rotten in Denmark, not to mention Hollywood. But we live in a very
corrupt world so why should American Idol be any exception?

but when ryan said "are u shocked by the results?"
chris facial expression of being shocked and then angry....he said something like "yesi'm shocked"
which implies "wut wut??? i'm better than that Kat-bitch! i hate america!"
so unprofessional so unhumble
hey it happens every season..like in season one, when people thought they woulda kicked nikki mckibbin, but tymara was kicked instead. but tymara was graceful about it.

from the top of the Kodak building and crashed to the pavement below to beheard by the vast
the KODAK theather is for the finale show only for the last two remaining contestants
the current stage they have is not the KODAK!

Thanks for saying that Mal. My only hope for the future is that they are only passionate about voting when they have to use a phone to do it.

I definitely think Chris is the ultimate idol and even if he isn't named American Idol, he is still my idol! That was an outrage! Katharine should have gone home cuz she f'd up the words to her stupid song!!gahh!

I really enjoyed from the very beginning LISTENING to Chris. He was also a BEAUTIFUL man to watch on stage. I guess I can now go back to watching Law and Order like I used to during that hour. Good Luck to all!

When Chris got voted off I was really really sad. I was at camp so I could not vote, but overall I voted for Chris about 50 to 60 times. I thought Chris had this all wraped up.
I really love Chris Daughtry

The shoes feel great and my feet felt great wearing them. However, normally my feet are supinated and these shoes correct that whether you want them to or not - which in my case caused knee pain. In hindsight, I would have gradually increased wearing time each day.
