Oh Mississippi maybe part of Lott's problem. An article in today's NYT says its Governor won't pardon a man, a docorated war hero, who had the termerity to apply for admission to a state college in 1959. For this, state officials planned to have him killed and eventually framed him for stealing chicken feed sentencing him to seven years in prison. Mississippi's Governor apparently admits that the guy was framed but still wont pardon him. See also, www.clydekennard.org
